Bundesbank launches architectural design competition for new campus

German central bank will refurbish and augment its campus in Frankfurt am Main

The Deutsche Bundesbank and the city council of Frankfurt am Main agreed to open an architectural design competition to renew the central bank’s campus in the city on September 9.

The authorities said the design project, developed by the firm Ferdinand Heide Architekten, is compatible with local planning regulations, and will be the basis of the reform project.
