Romanian governor dedicates Polish award to his forerunners
The National Bank of Romania governor, Mugur Isărescu, shared the glory of receiving a Polish order of merit with his central bank and his predecessors.
Isărescu received the Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit from the Republic of Poland – an award granted to foreigners – on December 5, in recognition of his contribution to the development of Polish-Romanian co-operation and promoting the countries' common history.
