Spain’s Ordóñez on how to reap benefits from stress tests
Miguel Fernández Ordóñez, the governor of the Bank of Spain, on Tuesday said the increased transparency of the Spanish banking system was a key factor in the strategy to restructuring the sector.
At the 18th meeting of the financial sector in Madrid, Spain, Ordóñez said: "Whenever the general perception is more negative than the reality, the best policy is to present all the data clearly."
