PBoC’s Zhou calls for labour market reforms in advanced economies

Zhou Xiaochuan, the governor of the People's Bank of China, on Saturday said that developed countries must address problems in their labour and goods markets before they can return to sustainable growth levels.

At the International Monetary and Financial Committee meeting in Washington, Zhou said: "Despite the large-scale intervention by many countries, the global recovery remains weak and highly uneven and financial markets highly turbulent."
