India wants to attract overseas bankers
Highly-skilled people from abroad are now available at a reasonable cost in view of employment cuts abroad and may propel India towards high-speed growth in all the sectors, said Shyamala Gopinath, the deputy governor of the Reserve Bank of India.
Gopinath also said that Indian banks and financial institutions should make their IT programs more cost effective and revenue generating, and should try to reach out to people in rural and semi-urban areas to bring them under the fold of the banking and
