We will suffer a while yet: Sweden's Ingves

Stefan Ingves, the governor of the Riskbank, has warned that Sweden will probably have to live with the financial market turbulence and the crisis in the US for a good while to come.

"It is too early yet to be able to foresee when this will all be over. However, what we can say is that it will take time," Ingves said.

However, he deemed financial stability in Sweden satisfactory and said the country was well equipped to meet the global downturn.
