HKMA's Yue woos Islamic finance investors

Hong Kong can make significant contribution to the global Islamic finance market, said Eddie Yue, a deputy chief executive of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority.

Yue said that Hong Kong was fortunate to have access to Islamic finance talents due its extensive network of regional and international players. He also said that Hong Kong's legal system was flexible enough to meet the demands of Islamic finance transactions and that its financial market was resilient.
