NY Fed's Geithner on global economic integration

In the speech 'Global economic and financial integration: Some implications for central banking' given on 26 October Timothy Geithner of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York said the central bank must be committed to containing inflation in a world made more challenging by increasing global financial and economic integration.

"In today's rapidly evolving global economy, monetary policy-makers cannot ignore the international dimension," Geithner said.
