Mauritius looks to foster banking sector growth

The Bank of Mauritius is committed to continuing its leading role in the development of the country's banking and financial sector, Jameel Khadaroo, a deputy governor of the central bank, has said.

To do so, the deputy governor said the central bank will develop markets and establish the legal, technological and human resource infrastructure required to foster growth.
