Noyer expects euro area growth to weaken
Christian Noyer, the governor of Banque de France, on Tuesday warned the pace of the recovery in Europe could slow in coming quarters as the public and private sectors continued to repair their balance sheets.
At the Global Interdependence Centre Conference in Helsinki, Finland, Noyer said: "Business climate indices, such as the Purchasing Managers Index, the Economic Sentiment Indicator or Germany's IFO, have peaked at high levels. Beyond these observations, the crisis may have left scars on
