A quarterly GDP series for post-WW2 New Zealand
New research from the Reserve Bank of New Zealand collates a quarterly post-World War II GDP series for the country with the aim of establishing the turning points in business cycles. The paper, published in November, formulates the series by linking recent official quarterly observations with temporally disaggregated observations from an earlier time period.
