Institutions key for China’s growth
The effect of institutions on economic performance in China is positive and significant, new research from the Bank of Finland posits.
The research also shows that the central aspect of China's institutional transition has involved learning from the West and that the historical influence of the West in the early 20th century may persist in China's current institutional changes.
