Russian economy may remain lethargic: BoF
The author adds that the other important factor in Russia's performance is the price of oil. Owing to Russia's copious reserves, higher oil prices improve government tax revenue, giving greater opportunity for fiscal stimulus. Also, the Russian stock exchange is sensitive to changes in the oil price with 60% of listed shares those of oil companies.
