Japan reviews communications on uncertainty

The Bank of Japan has produced research analysing the communication efforts of six central banks and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on the economic outlook.

The research describes the Bank of England's, the Fed's and the Bank of Japan's approaches in detail and also touches on those of the European Central Bank, Norges Bank, the Riksbank and the IMF. The paper also analyses the accuracy of projections.
