National Bank of the Republic of Belarus – Annual Report (2009)
The National Bank of the Republic of Belarus' 2009 Annual Report, published on 25 May, showed the eastern European country recorded a decline in its international investment position following a collapse in exports in 2008.
The Belarusian economy recovered gradually from the crisis after recording marginally positive economic growth in 2009, following a collapse in export demand with major trading partners the previous year. As a result of the widening global financial and economic crisis
