National Bank of Georgia - Annual Report 2007

2007 showed that the trust of the Georgian population in the national currency increased, the country's central bank notes in its latest Annual Report.

The report finds that, at 113%, the growth rate of loans extended in the national currency was particularly high. Deposits in the national currency also grew, resulting from the decrease of dollarisation.
