ECB Monthly Bulletin, May 2007

The European Central Bank published its May 2007 Monthly Bulletin on Thursday 17 May. In the report the ECB reiterated that it is exercising strong vigilance on inflation risks.

"Strong vigilance is of the essence in order to ensure that risks to price stability over the medium term do not materialise," the ECB said.

"Looking ahead, acting in a firm and timely manner to ensure price stability in the medium term remains warranted," the report said.

The ECB also expressed concern about monetary
