National Bank of Serbia - Annual Report 2006
Core inflation fell below the National Bank of Serbia's 7% to 9% target range in 2006 to just 5.9%.
The central bank implemented a series of rate cuts and lowered its reserve requirement ratio in a bid to bring inflation within the central bank's target range.
A boost in foreign exchange reserves meant the central bank could repay its International Monetary Fund and World Bank debt ahead of schedule.
