Central Bank of Montenegro - Annual Report 2006

Montenegro's economy had a successful year in 2006, says Ljubisa Krgovic, the president of its central bank.

The year was characterised by stable and low inflation, a decline in unemployment, a record inflow of foreign direct investment, further growth in all monetary and financial indicators, and accelerated growth in the tourism, construction, telecommunications, and banking industries.
