Minutes from the Federal Reserve's 9 August meeting published on Tuesday 30 August. Most Federal Reserve policymakers expressed concern that inflation risks had "ticked up" recently, with some worrying that price increases were already at the upper end of their comfort zone and could hurt the economy.

"While recent monthly readings indicated that core inflation had been subdued, a number of participants noted that underlying core inflation appeared to be running at a pace around the upper end
