According to the Central Bank of Liberia's Annual Report 2006, the economic outlook for the country seems bright and favorable because of the consolidation of peace and the economic reform measures that are being designed.

"In addition, the prospects for growth of the global economy in 2007 remain good. A number of time-bound reforms are being undertaken, including judicial reform, civil service reform, governance reform, financial sector reform, and the formation of an anticorruption commission
