Libyan governor and deputy jobs up for grabs

The Central Bank of Libya, Tripoli

The Central Bank of Libya's top two policy-makers could be on their way out of the institution, as the General National Congress (GNC) of Libya is inviting applications for the positions of governor and deputy governor.

At present, the positions are held by Saddek Elkaber and Ali Elhebri, and have been since 2011. There is no mention of either standing down, or being sacked, and the central bank's website listed both men as employees at the time of writing.
