People: Kuroda confirmed; Bulgarian deputy joins government

Japan: Haruhiko Kuroda was confirmed as the Bank of Japan's new governor by the Japanese parliament last week, while Kikuo Iwata and Hiroshi Nakaso were approved as deputy governors.

The trio will begin their roles on March 21, and the first meeting of the policy board with its new membership is due to take place on April 3 and 4.
