National Bank of Austria reshuffles governing board

Ewald Nowotny, the governor of the National Bank of Austria, has been reappointed for a second term, and the governing board will gain two new faces after its current terms end in April.

A spokesman for the central bank confirmed the Austrian government had reappointed Nowotny today (January 8), although this is still subject to the Austrian president's approval, likely to be given in the next two to three weeks.
