ECB delivers blow to Hungarian central bank law


The European Central Bank (ECB) on May 31 delivered a damning opinion on the latest draft of the controversial Hungarian Central Bank Law.

The detailed opinion slammed the legislation, saying it "still fails to address a number of previously highlighted concerns" relating to central bank independence.
