ECB reveals executive board salaries

In keeping with their inflation-fighting mandate, senior staff at the ECB gave themselves a 2% pay rise last year.

The basic salary of Jean-Claude Trichet, the president of the central bank, rose by 2% to €345,252 ($530,752). The salary of Lucas Papademos, the vice president, went up by the same proportion to €295,920.
