Indonesia's Abdullah to step down in May

Burnahuddin Abdullah, the governor of Bank Indonesia, has said that he does not want to serve a second term at the central bank.

Xinhua, China's state-owned news agency reported on Tuesday that Abdullah, whose current term expires in May, said: "I personally would like to confirm that when my term ends, I am not willing to hold this position again. But I believe my service to this country will continue."
