Senate votes on Bernanke, FOMC meets
The vote on Bernanke, which comes on Alan Greenspan's final day in office, was set to follow a vote on the nomination of federal appeals court Judge Samuel Alito to the Supreme Court.
Bernanke, a former Fed governor who currently chairs the White House Council of Economics Advisers
