Polish rates to rise soon

Halina Wasilewska-Trenkner, a monetary policy committee member at the National Bank of Poland, says interest rates will rise in either August or September this year.

"We are seeing a picture of price pressure; this is the time for action and not for waiting," said Wasilewska-Trenkner in an interview with Thomson Financial News on Wednesday.
