New governor proposed for Bank Indonesia
A former deputy governor at the central bank, Boediono would be a popular choice within the institution to replace Burnahuddin Abdullah, who departs in May, an insider told Central Bank News.
Last month parliament rejected two candidates: Agus Martowardojo, a director of Indonesia's biggest lender Bank Mandiri BMRI.JK, and Raden Pardede, a director of PT Perusahaan Pengelola Aset
