Bomb explodes near Iraqi central bank

A bomb exploded near Iraq's central bank in central Baghdad on Monday 10 July, killing several people, Reuters reported.

Police said the bomb had been planted outside a restaurant in Rasheed Street, a busy commercial area and the main artery of old downtown Baghdad. There were unconfirmed reports that the attack was carried out by a suicide bomber, Reuters said.
