RBA appoints head of domestic markets

The Reserve Bank of Australia announced Monday 14 May that John Broadbent would be appointed as Head of Domestic Markets Department.

Mr Broadbent holds a Bachelors Degree in Commerce, with first class honours, from the University of New South Wales, and a Master of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE). He has extensive experience in the fields of economics and financial markets. Prior to his appointment, Mr Broadbent was deputy head of Domestic Markets Department.
