Two candidates for Slovenia's central bank chief

Two candidates have applied for the post of the governor of Banka Slovenije, Slovenia's central bank, President Janez Drnovsek's office told STA News.

The office refused to talk about the names, the report said.

According to the Bank of Slovenia act, the president has to propose a candidate to the National Assembly in 30 days and has the right to name candidates that had not applied.
