EU presidency's Heinaluoma calls for cooperation

Finnish Finance Minister Eero Heinaluoma, whose country holds the rotating EU presidency, said Thursday 13 July that the euro group and the European Central could improve the way they cooperate.

"I do think that cooperation with the ECB is crucial," Heinaluoma told the European parliament's economic and monetary affairs committee.

"There is a lot to be gained from working together. Obviously, we could work together better," he said.
