Norway's plans to sell Royal Mint stir up storm

Norway's central bank has said that by 2007 it will not be economically feasible to print notes and mint coins in the country. But the move has caused controversy with many saying that printing notes and coins has "symbolic value" for Norway.

The Bank of Norway wants to get out of the money-making business. By 2007, it claims it won't be economically feasible to continue printing money and minting coins in Norway.

Production of paper money has already gone out to international
