Fed to undergo "thorough review" of communication

Don Kohn, the vice-chairman of the Federal Reserve, will lead a committee to look at how much the central bank releases about its lending policies.

Ben Bernanke, the chairman of the Fed, revealed the initiative during his testimony to Congress on Tuesday, as lawmakers expressed concerns at the checks on the central bank's powers.
