SNB's Hildebrand says Middle East a risk

Philipp Hildebrand, a member of the Swiss National Bank's (SNB) governing board said in an interview the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah constitutes a new risk factor.

Asked by bi-weekly Finanz-und Wirtschaft whether the conflict has changed the SNB's risk assessment when making its interest rate decision, he said: "We are worried. This brings a new risk factor into the game ... We now have to include the question what impact the crisis will have on oil prices in our considerations."
