Indonesia's central bank chief cleared of charges

INDONESIA - In an unexpected move, the Jakarta High Court acquitted Bank Indonesia Governor Sjahril Sabirin of all charges in connection with his involvement in the 1999 Bank Bali scandal, overturning the decision of the Central Jakarta District Court to sentence him to three years in prison.
