Noyer concerned over oil, house prices

Bank of France governor Christian Noyer voiced concern in an interview with Le Figaro over the high level of oil prices and the recent strong rise in French house prices.

"The increase in the price of oil is bad for the world economy," Noyer said in an interview with French daily Le Figaro.

But so far it has had only a moderate impact on global growth and inflation, with second-round inflation effects from the oil price rise still limited, he said.

Meanwhile, Noyer said the rise in French property
