No plan to relocate central bank says Perng

Central Bank of China (CBC) governor Perng Fai-nan said Wednesday 14 March that Taiwan's central bank will not relocate its headquarters from Taipei City to southern Taiwan.

Perng's comments to the Legislative Yuan followed calls for the relocation of public agencies away from Taiwan's capital aimed at balancing regional development.
