Single currency for NZ and Aus

NEW ZEALAND - Economists at a Sydney forum discussed a shared currency for New Zealand and Australia on 20 June.

All agreed that a single currency will be adopted for the two nations in time, although it is unclear when the step will be taken. HSBC Australia's John Edwards noted that currency blocks are becoming an accepted strategy.
