IMF strengthens technical assistance programme
The reforms look to better integrate technical assistance with the Fund's other operations, and to enhance internal governance and performance measurement.
The measures also include the opening of four new regional assistance centres and proposals for topical trust funds, where investments are made for causes getting a lot of attention.
