LDP's Nakagawa says nominal GDP also BOJ target

A senior Liberal Democratic Party executive expressed concern on Thursday 22 December over the Bank of Japan's move to end its policy of quantitative monetary easing as early as next spring.

"It's hard to make an early call on this, but I'm not sure whether it'll be so easy to end deflation," LDP Policy Research Council Chairman Hidenao Nakagawa told The Yomiuri Shimbun in an interview.

He urged the central bank to consider the nominal growth rate as a criteria to ending its ultraloose monetary
