Germany nominates Stark for ECB Board
``The cabinet decided Tuesday to nominate him for the board,'' Finance Ministry spokeswoman Nicole Rosin was quoted as saying in an interview.
Ulrich Wilhelm, Chancellor Angela Merkel's spokesman, said on Dec. 9 that Stark is ``an excellent central banker, who has every qualification for it.''
