G20 seminar on economic growth begins

The central banks of South Africa, Mexico and China are co-hosting a seminar in Pretoria to find ways of sustaining economic growth, particularly for the developing world.

Welcoming delegates at the start of the two-day seminar, South Africa's Reserve Bank governor Tito Mboweni said the seminar was expected to discuss issues such as institutional arrangements, economic growth, demographic challenges and fiscal sustainability.
