MAS maintains policy on Singapore dollar

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is sticking to its policy of allowing slight, gradual appreciation of the Singapore dollar despite expectations of weakness in the economy, it said Tuesday 10 October.

"[The] MAS will maintain the policy of a modest and gradual appreciation of the Singapore dollar nominal effective exchange rate policy band," it said in a written statement.
