IMF eyes replacement for Geithner

Speaking last Friday IMF chief Horst Koehler said he would appoint Mark Allen to replace Tim Geithner, who is now President of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. If approved by the IMF's executive board Allen will become director of the key policy development and review department that designs and oversees policies in member countries.
