China to name Ma Delun as vice governor

The People's Bank of China is set to appoint Ma Delun as vice governor of the central bank, local media reports said on Wednesday.

Xinhua, the state-owned news agency, reported that an unnamed central bank official had confirmed Ma's appointment, which the Ministry of Personnel has yet to officially announce.

Ma is now an assistant governor at the central bank and also served as deputy director general of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange. He replaces Xiang Junbo, who left the central
