BoE/ Fed Rate Cut Suggests no coordinated effort

UK - The Bank of England said Monday 17 September that it does not comment on monetary policy decisions carried out by other central banks.

The lack of comment from the U.K. central bank suggests that the U.S. Federal Reserve's surprise half percentage point cut in U.S. interest rates Monday was not part of a coordinated effort from the world's leading central banks.
