Fiji central bank head concerned at worker loss

FIJI - The head of Fiji's central bank has expressed concern at the increasing number of skilled people leaving the country permanently.

Reserve Bank Governor Savenaca Narube says a rise in the number of emigrants by 25 per cent in 2000 and then a further 19 per cent last year emphasises the country's loss of qualified and skilled people.
